CHARLIE REEVES
BORN ON MAY 19th1974
WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD ON PALM SUNDAY, APRIL 4TH, 1993.

Charlie was the son of Nick and Katie Reeves of Canton, NC. He was a native of Haywood County, and a 1992 graduate of Pisgah High School, where he was an Honor Student and National Honor Society Member. He was Vice President of the Key Club and a member of the Junior Civitans. He was a dedicated member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the high school year book staff. He was also a D.A.R.E. Role Model. He was a member of the varsity tennis team, as well as the junior varsity basketball team. Charlie was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton, where he was a member of Campus Life / Youth for Christ. He served as a Senate and Governor's Page for the State of North Carolina. Charlie was a Freshman at Campbell University, studying pre-pharmacy. At college he was a member of the Campbell Chorale Society, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Karate Club. He also was a member of the Campbell University Track Team, participating in the javelin throw even. He attended Memorial Baptist Church at Campbell University.

"Never Forgotten" is the motto we use when thinking of Charlie. We have an annual tournament called "The Charlie Reeves Memorial Karate Tournament" in his memory and in his honor.
